I kicked off Spooky Season the right way. First, I had the superior fall drink from Starbucks (the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato) and then I sat down to talk all things Monster High 2 with Clawdeen Wolf herself Miia Harris and the choreographer who is out there upping the game each time, Heather Laura Gray.

Miia, girl, those shoes, these dance numbers, I would have broken my whole leg, like from the hip all the way down if it had been me. So I don't know how you did it, but you looked fabulous.
One, I think when I become Clawdeen, she lives in those high heels and so I think it just is part of the energy. But also I have to give credit to Heather. She was on me about strengthening my ankles and strengthening my muscles. I had the bands, I had the balls, I was doing the exercises. So I definitely have to credit the fact that I still have ankles to Heather.
Heather, you made it all happen with all of those amazing numbers. What was it like stepping back into this world with so many familiar faces when it came time to actually blocking out and really figuring out the moves for each number?
You know, it was so much fun to come back into it knowing our actors, knowing where their strengths are. I could play to that on top of [what] we knew of this world. Working with Todd Holland, the director, we had a lot of fun really telling the story through amazing music and challenging, you know, Miia. I gave her like a whacking move and I was like, okay, go away. I'll see you in a little bit. And she came back…she just tackled it.
That's where you really see the growth in the characters and the physicality and the humanity and the story. She's incredible. She was on fire, you know? So it's like what we did in the first one allowed us to get to this place in the second one.

About Monster High 2
Sophomore year brews lots of changes for Monster High. The power of three is put to the test as Clawdeen Wolf (Miia Harris), Draculaura (Nayah Damasen) and Frankie Stein (Ceci Balagot) face monstorous challenges this year: new students, new powers, evolving friendships, and a mysterious threat that could not only tear their friendship apart, but also change the world forever.
