Wonka Movie: Calah Lane Interview

The hit film Wonka is now available to own and I recently had the chance to sit down with Calah Lane aka Noodle, to talk all things chocolate. Are you curious about the chocolate river? Or if the whole set was edible? Calah is sharing all of that and more!

Noodle is a brand new character in the Wonka universe and actress Calah Lane portrayed her with a lot of heart and soul. So much so, I would argue that Noodle is the beating heart of the film– no offense Willy. From eating chocolate on set to swimming in chocolate “rivers,” Calah sat down to talk about life on the set of the whimsical and sweet Wonka.  On eating chocolate on set with Timothée: I definitely liked all the chocolates. My favorite, the only one that I really got a chance to eat was the silver lining…But there was also a teacup…me and Timmy [were] drinking out of it but [we were] eating it too. {…} We had a chocolatier on set. She made all the chocolates. They tasted absolutely incredible and they looked beautiful too.  If there is another Wonka film, and I feel like there will be, what do you think Noodle will be doing when we see her again?  She’s definitely going to have a lot of books…she’s definitely not going to be in those clothes anymore. {…} I mean she’s gonna have it all. I think we’ll see an older version of her and a more sophisticated version. She’s now got what she’s been wanting for a long time. So she’s happy now.  Watch the full interview with Calah Lane
