Maul Shadow Lord Episode 4 Easter Eggs, Breakdown, & Recap
Vario shows up to meet with Krim and tells him he didn’t have a choice -Maul is here. But he makes it look like he is working to help the Pykes and hand them Maul. Obviously that doesn’t work and Maul kills a lot of the Pykes before the last few surrender.
“You tried to kill me, you failed.” Maul wanted revenge for how the Pykes turned on him after he lost the fight with Ahsoka on Mandalore.
Devon and Daki reunite. He gives her back her lightsaber and asks how she escaped. She is vague on the details. Daki wants to leave the planet because he knows that Maul’s presence will draw the Empire to Janix.
Lawson gets a tip on Maul’s whereabouts and wants to go after him. Two Boots tries to stop him so Lawson deactivates him.
They move in on Maul but it’s actually Vario. He has a message for Lawson. Maul offers his protection and promises not to trouble the city if he is left alone to conduct his “operation.” Lawson refuses to accept.
Devon and Daki also find Maul. He was hoping she would come back with her Jedi Master. Daki and Maul fight, lightsabers blazing. Devon saves Daki from a lethal blow.
Lawson discovers they are Jedi and asks a dumb question- why didn’t you tell me? I think that would be obvious detective.
Maul and Kast are able to escape from Daki and Lawson. However, Daki is injured.
