June 24, 2025 By Ashley Leave a Comment

Ironheart Episode 2 Easter Eggs: Riri pulls off her first job with Hood and his crew. But first she needs help and turns to an unlikely source to get parts for her iron suit. Let's get into this Ironheart Episode 2 Easter Eggs, breakdown, and recap.

Ironheart Episode 2 Easter Eggs Ezekiel Stane

Riri wants to erase N.A.T.A.L.I.E. and start over. She just wanted to recreate the Wakandan AI – GRIOT – not a hologram of her dead best friend.

“Go home, Roger”– you better know that's a ‘Sister, Sister‘ quote!

TNNL is a company turning old freight tunnels into a private highway for the wealthy.

Riri learns more about Parker's crew. Slug is from Madripoor. He found Clown when she was going through a nasty breakup trying to blow-up a car like in Waiting to Exhale.

In order to help with this job, she needs to get the Ironheart suit working.

NATALIE finds her some help- Joe McGillicuddy aka the son of Obadiah Stane… Ezekiel Stane. In the comics, Ezekiel is not some nerdy, mild mannered guy. His goal is to avenge his father's death. (Riri doesn't know it's him yet)

I wonder if he got the name from I Love Lucy reruns?

Ezekiel is a doormat, being walked on by his neighbors, co-workers, and now Riri who is blackmailing him to get access to his weapons.

Inside his bunker he has a stash of illegal weapons like self-guided missiles and bionics. He shares that the bunker makes him feel close to his dad who was an engineer. Riri doesn't have an arc reactor, instead her suit is solar and wind powered.

At TNNL, Riri is surprised when NATALIE shows up in the suit, telling her this is just like Spy Kids.

Parker has Zarate sign him and the crew onto the payroll. Riri gets caught by a guard but Hood fires a bullet that curves around her and hits the guard.

Riri is curious about Parker and asks Clown about him and the hood he wears. Clown says she heard he got it from a demon (which is what happened in the comics). She also tells Riri that she has seen him shirtless and that he is covered in scales but not like a lizard person. John tells Riri not to ask a lot of questions.

NATALIE apologizes for freezing when the guard pointed the gun at Riri. But she does tell her that Parker has crazy energy radiating from his body but that she couldn't analyze it.

“We wake up to aliens, androids, and wizards on our timeline every other day.” Sam said the same thing in Falcon and The Winter Soldier to Bucky.

She is talking to NATALIE about all of this in front of a sign for FAUST, a play about a man who made a deal with the devil.

Xavier calls Riri a Padawan.

Parker is hearing distorted voices asking what he desires most. The lines/scars on his back are growing.

Riri's mother knows about NATALIE and asks her to make one of Gary (Riri's stepdad who also died the night Natalie did).

Joe (Ezekial) is throwing away one of his live, laugh, love signs when he steps in dog poop again. Fed up, he walks across the street and cuts his neighbor's flowers. Step one in becoming a villain I guess!

Episodes 1-3 of Ironheart are now streaming on Disney+.
