Fisk is at the hospital, watching as they operate on Vanessa. The injury is bad and the likelihood she will survive is low.
The Task Force is searching for Daredevil and Bullseye. Despite everything, Daredevil wants to save Bullseye.
Blake tells BB that Vanessa is in critical condition. He doesn’t trust her but still hopes she won’t tell anyone about it.
In her coma, Vanessa is remembering her life before Fisk, when she worked at an art gallery.
Matt has a flashback of a client that he and Foggy took on, someone who knew Foggy growing up and made fun of him all the time. He is still picking on Foggy, but regardless, Foggy wants to help him. The guy shrugs off their help saying he is a dead man when he gets in.
In the past, James Wesley (Toby Leonard Moore) is advising Fisk to go to an art gallery. The same one Vanessa is working at.
Wesley was Kingpin’s right hand man before he was killed by Karen Page in the original Daredevil series.
Present time- Fisk is still watching Vanessa in surgery while Bullseye continues to bleed out.
Again in the past, Foggy finds a way to get their client off. Matt doesn’t think the guy deserves to walk away but Foggy is persistent and tells him to follow what they swore in legal school.
Buck and Blake get into the car and head to Albany, with Blake fearing the worst. He thinks Buck thinks he is the leak for the City Without Fear and now Buck is going to kill him.
In the past, Fisk was introduced to Buck by Wesley and orders him to kill the guy that Matt and Foggy were defending.
Daredevil and Bullseye are at the church. The Task Force comes looking for them but they escape.
Daniel Blake and Buck make it to the woods. The setup seems very similar to The Sopranos episode where Silvio kills Ariana for being a rat.
Blake is played by Michael Gandolfini who is the son of James Gandolfini who played Tony Soprano.
Vanessa wakes up and asks Fisk to tell her the story about when they met. However, the sweet moment ends because Vanessa dies.
