For me, my grandmother always makes my day Kind Awesome. She is an absolute superhero in my eyes. As a little girl she always taught me to show love to others and do what you can to help them. Not only did she say these things to me, but she always showed them to me. Children learn more by what you do than what you say! One day I watched her give money to someone she barely knew, but that person needed help for doctors bills for their son who had a serious disease. My grandmother never even hesitated pulling out money, that the mother wasn't even asking for, and handing it over saying “I want to help Mike be able to see.” I will never forget that. Giving to others, whether it is your time, money, or your sympathy should not be a chore. You should want to, and she definitely wanted to. “When you have been blessed Ashley, you need to share that blessing with others.”
To this day, although she is a lot older and not able to get around like she use to, my grandmother still places concerns of others before herself. That is a truly awesome woman who has an amazing legacy about her life. Everyday I get to talk to her or spend time with her is #Kindawesome.
