Andor Episode 9 Easter Eggs & Breakdown

Dedra Meero is interrogating Bix. She wants her to cooperate but if Bix chooses not to then Dr. Gorst will use his new “interview system.” She reveals that Paak told them he attended a Separatist meeting on Jondoro, a planet mentioned in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

During this meeting, Paak met a woman who gave him the radio Bix used to contact Luthen. Bix knows Meero is ISB and calls them the worst of the worst. She is turned over to Gorst to be tortured.

Cassian is still in the prison and has settled into the way things work. Ulaf, the oldest member at their table, will be going home soon.

Back on Ferrix, Gorst is about to begin his interview with Bix. He mentions Dizon Fray, a planet never mentioned before. The species that lived there were massacred by the Empire. Apparently the sounds they made as they died caused emotional trauma to the officers on duty. Gorst has taken that sound and modified it a bit to create his own form of torture. He places a headset on her and she begins to scream.

Cassian is plotting an escape from the prison with another inmate.

Bix is being kept as a witness, since she is the only one who can identify Axis aka Luthen Rael. They plan to hang Paak as an example to the rest of Ferrix.

Mothma is standing against the Public Order Resentencing Directive, a new order from Emperor Palpatine which she believes is the next step towards unchallenged authority. When she gets in the car, her driver informs her that her cousin is waiting to see her at her home.

There is something wrong at the prison but no one knows what exactly is happening.

Mothma arrives home and Leida is gushing over a new dress Aunt Vel brought back from Tassio Moon. She is worried about Vel and what Luthen has her doing. Vel is more concerned about Mon being trapped on Coruscant.

Cassian tries to get Kino to join him in escaping, but he refuses. Kino won't tell Cassian anything he knows for fear they are listening to the inmates.

Meero is giving her report to the ISB. She mentions Maya Pei whom Saw called a neo-Republican during his rant to Luthen in the previous episode.

Syril tells his mother he has been promoted.

Vel leaves Mon to return to Chandrila.

Syril seeks out Meero to thank her for his promotion. She warns him not to come near her again.

Kolma tells Mon Mothma that in order to fix her accounts to avoid suspicion they will need the help of Davo Sculdun, a seemingly sketchy financier. Mon calls him a thug. He wants to meet with Mothma in Coruscant.

At ISB a rebel pilot has been caught using an imperial masking device that was taken from Lozash. The pilot is part of Anto Kreegyr's group. The pilot told the ISB that there is a raid planned for the power station on Spellhaus.

The pilot was on his way to Kafrene. Kafrene is where Cassian first learned on the Death Star in Rogue One.

Ulaf dies. The med-tech tells Kino and Cassian what happened on level two. A prisoner was released from level four and ended up back in the prison but on level two. Word spread and the prison leadership killed everyone on two. Kino is now interested in Cassian's escape plan.

Episodes 1-9 of Andor are now streaming on Disney+.
