Almost there. Week 9 of my couch to 5K training begins this week. That means 2 things. One, I am almost finished with my training. Two, that means I will be up to a full 30min jog. Whhhaaaattt? Yeah I can't even believe that myself. It still shocks me how my endurance has built up. My goal this week is to hit the full 5K distance during my jog. A friend asked me today if I loved running yet…heck no. I still most assuredly despise it. In the future if I want to make it to the Disney Princess half marathon I will have to continue to force myself to run. There is just no other way around it.
I shared last week I slacked off with my water intake. Although I did do better, I am not doing great. My other goal is to drink more water! My birthday is Saturday and I am going out with some awesome friends to one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. They have the BEST chocolate empanada with homemade ice cream eva! That dessert and possible sangria are my motivation to make it through all my workouts this week. Mmm it will be soooo worth it!
Non-Scale Victory: My gym pants are getting loose and fall down a bit when I run. Fantastic right? So I need to get new ones and in the mean time I have to hope I don't flash anyone 😉
I am excited to see who the finalists are for Mamavation Mom and to get started on this journey with them. I know whoever is picked will rock!
Have a great week everyone!

Pants falling down is a nice problem Congrats

Yay for the non-scale victory!!! Those are way better than the numbers on the scale 😀 I, too, need to work on my water intake 😀

Awesome job! I hated running at first, too, but now I love it. I REALLY want to do a Disney race someday, too. It’s a dream, for sure! And I definitely had to buy new workout pants. Isn’t that the best?!

I totally get the hatred of the running. I’m with you. But, there is this awesome feeling when you actually do it! I know the first time I ran 30 minutes straight, I was in awe of MYSELF. I didn’t do the full 5k distance in that amount of time, but the fact that I kept moving for that length of time was outstanding. 🙂

Nice job with C25K. Do you know how many people bail on the program before 30 min? Keep this up and you will get to your 1/2 and maybe even love it. Now train your booty off to make that sangria taste that much yummier on Saturday.

Great job on your goals! and Happy Early Birthday 🙂

That Disney Princess half is my goal, too! Awesome job with the C25K, and what a fun non-scale victory. Enjoy that sangria – you deserve it! 🙂
