Last week when the family and I were out near DC, we stopped in to try some new favorites at Corner Bakery.
Corner Bakery offers a variety of meals for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I like that they use fresh ingredients, make a lot of things in house, and I have never been disappointed with my meals there. And these new dishes make a great reason for you to make a stop into your local store!
Chopped Salad features all-natural chicken, applewood smoked bacon, avocado, bleu cheese, tomatoes and green onions tossed with iceberg and romaine lettuce and a sweet and spicy house vinaigrette. This one is my personal favorite. Avocado & Bacon make everything better!
Pesto Cavatappi is made with all-natural grilled chicken and cavatappi pasta tossed in a rich pesto cream sauce and sprinkled with toasted bread crumbs. My husband said it was really good, I'll have to take his word for it since he cleaned his plate.
And a trip to Corner Bakery with the kids is not complete without a Monster Cookie!
There is also a new breakfast offering that I cannot wait to try out! The Anaheim Scrambler is made with freshly scrambled eggs with applewood smoked bacon, tomatoes, green onions and cheddar cheese, topped with avocado.

We have one on route to my daughter’s school. My son has been asking me to take him because he sees the word bakery and is automatically in love. I would try the Pesto Cavatappi because it looks good.
