While the other Mandalorians practice being Mandalorians, Grogu is sitting and playing with rock crabs.
Din picks him up and tells him he needs to learn with the other Foundlings. He has Grogu challenge Ragnar, the boy from Chapter 17. Ragnar chooses darts as their weapon. He doesn't think Grogu can fight.
Bo-Katan thinks he is too young but Din wants him to go from Foundling to Apprentice. She tells Grogu to take it easy on Ragnar and that Din reminds her of her dad. He's just proud of you.
Ragnar lands two hits on Grogu. Din tells him to show them what he can do. Grogu Force Jumps over Ragnar and hits him with all three darts at the same time, winning the competition.
A Sand Dragon grabs Ragnar and takes him away. The Mandalorians try to follow it back to its lair but they run out of fuel. Bo-Katan tracks the creature using her ship.
She goes back to the others to form a hunting party. The Armorer and Paz Vizsla are unsure they can scale the mountains. Bo-Katan says the peaks aren't any higher than Kyrimorut.
Kyrimorut was a remote stronghold located in Mandalore. It was the home of the Skirata clan as well as any Clone Troopers and Jedi who needed to escape the Empire. It is from a 2007 Star Wars Legends book: Republic Commando: True Colors by Karen Traviss.
The Armorer tells Paz Vizsla to have the Shriek-Hawk training team join them. The Shriek-Hawk is a creature native to Mandalore and used as the emblem for Clan Vizsla. It was also used as a symbol for the Death Watch.
While Din and Bo-Katan leave to rescue Ragnar, Grogu follows the Armorer into the cave. She tells him how Mandalorians are forged just as their armor is forged.
As he watches the forge, he has a flashback to the Jedi Temple during Order 66. A Jedi calls out “Get him to Kelleran.” The Jedi are shot down by Clone Troopers voiced by Temuera Morrison.
Kelleran Beq (Ahmed Best who is also known as the voice of Jar Jar Binks) was a Jedi Master. He is from he Star Wars Kids website series called: Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge.
They fly through Coruscant and even over the Peak of Umate.
Kelleran and Grogu escape thanks to help from some Naboo Soldiers. They fly away on an Naboo ship.
The Armorer has forged Grogu his next piece of armor, a rondel that matches Din's. It has the mudhorn sigil on it.
Bo-Katan leads Din, Paz Vizsla, and other Mandalorians to the raptor's nest. They make camp. As they all go off to eat their food in private, Paz tells Bo-Katan as the leader of the war party she is allowed to stay by the fire.
Ragnar is Paz Vizsla's son. As he hurries to rescue him, they are attacked by the Raptor who has babies.
Din saves Ragnar and the Raptor is eaten by a giant alligator like creature that was first seen in Chapter 17.
They bring back the three baby Raptors who are now also Foundlings.
The Armorer takes Bo-Katan to the forge to repair her armor, she is missing a shoulder piece.
Bo-Katan asks the Armorer to put the Mythosaur sigil on it. She tells the Armorer that she saw a real Mythosaur, the Armorer just says when you walk the ways of the Mandalore you will see many things.
