VisionQuest Episode 2 Easter Eggs, Breakdown, & Recap
One year ago during Christmas, Tommy almost drowned in the pool until a lightning bolt hit him and he wasn’t just himself anymore.
The prison bus driver is played by Ben Compton from Game of Thrones and my personal favorite, 102 Dalmatians.
On the bus, Tommy meets Lisa. They are being taken to Saint Mabyn’s.
In the comics, Saint Maybn’s was a place victims of Radion the Ravager’s Attack were taken.
In the present day, Saint Maybn’s is where Paladin is taking Tommy.
Paladin is waiting for Vision at The Old Selkie. Vision tells Paladin he does not feel.
Monsters, Wizards, and Witches oh my.
Paladin says Wanda twitched her nose to bring Tommy’s soul into this boy’s body. That’s a reference to Bewitched which was also in Episode 1 WandaVision.
Vision and Ultron discuss the Ship of Theseus. Ultron tells him the philosophical question ignores the story of Theseus himself. When a monster has your don, don’t be the ship be the goddamn King.
He goes to Saint Maybn’s to rescue Tommy and says “I’m here for the trap.”
Tommy freaks out at first when he sees the White Vision. He changes back to his human form and tells him he is not there to harm him.
It’s an EMP cage. Paladin uses adamantium rounds to shoot Vision.
He tells Thomas to leave him. He is dying which means the other AIs will die as well. JARVIS sacrifices himself for the others, deleting his code and diverting his processes to them. Family is forever.
Tommy comes back to save him with a car that he stole.
