Trolls Band Together 

As Poppy (Anna Kendrick) grows closer to her now boyfriend Branch (Justin Timberlake), she discovers his secret past as a member of her favorite boyband, BroZone, with his four estranged brothers. When Branch’s bro Floyd is kidnapped for his musical talents by a pair of nefarious popstars, Branch and Poppy embark on an action-packed journey to reunite the other brothers and rescue Floyd. Along the way Poppy uncovers a family secret of her own, a long-lost sister named Viva (Camila Cabello). 

Trolls Band Together gives the people and Bergens what we have wanted for years– a boy band loving, brightly colored, hug-fest. The 90s pop references are a welcomed delight for parents even if they are about as subtle as glitter to the face. Woven in with the songs (new and remixed) and the fever dream state of the animation is a story about the importance of family and communication. Sometimes those closest to us need a little more than a hug and an elaborately designed pop-up greeting card. But those are great too of course. The new sing-along edition brings the troll-tastic fun to a whole new level as the whole fam can come together to jam out to their favorite songs. Then, when vocal cords are resting, hangout for some epic bonus features including a how to draw segment, which is always a huge hit in our house.
