Norman (Colman Domingo) wants to recruit Peter to work at Oscorp for an exclusive internship.
Peter is still busy fighting crime but is worried about his schedule now that he has an afterschool job.
Nico is not a fan of Osborn and is convinced he is hiding skeletons in his backyard. She won't stop him from taking the job but says if he decides to work with Roxxon Oil she will stage an intervention.
At Oscorp, there is someone on floor 17 dressed like the Green Goblin: purple and green with a hood.
The other interns are:
- Asha from Wakanda– aerospace (Erika Luttrell)
- Amadeus Cho – robotics (Aleks Le)
- Jeanne Foucault– quantum computation (Anjali Kuanpaneni)
In the comics, Amadeus has a Hulk side and like Jen Walters/She-Hulk, retains his normal personality when in Hulk form.
Jeanne aka Finesse has the ability to master any skill quickly, like Taskmaster.
Their teacher is Dr. Bentley Whitman (Paul F Thompkins). Whitman is known as the Wizard, one of the Fantastic Four's oldest foes. He has genius level intelligence and is a master of disguise.
When talking to the interns he references Hawkeye.
Peter is paired with Dr. Carla Connors to work in the Oscorp Energy research division. They are trying to create a self sustaining power source like the Stark Arc Reactor.
Nico calls to tell Peter they won the football game and that Lonnie has invited them to Sweaty Mikes to celebrate.
Pizza is from Kelcheese’s Pizza.
At Oscorp, Peter sees a news report about an arsonist who is still at large. He leaves to help find the guy who turns out to be Butane. There is a comic villain named Butane, but the similarities just seem to be the name.
The security guy at Oscorp is named J. Gallo. In the comics, Johnathon Gallo was a mutant. He takes Peter to meet with Osborn.
Norman Osborn knows Peter is Spider-Man.
