Peter wakes up in the experimental medical wing of Oscorp. Osborn promises no one else saw his face. Peter is worried about Scorpion being loose on the streets but he is in no shape to go after him.
The Spider-Man suit sustained too much damage.
After he is well enough, Peter goes back to work at the internship, telling everyone he was mugged.
Animals are being brought in for testing…a LIZARD is specifically shown in a cage. Dr. Conners ends up as Lizard in the comics.
Aunt May tells Peter that being scared is not a weakness.
Doc Ock tells Vincent he just made a deal to acquire the Earth's rarest metals…. Vibranium? Adamantium? In the comics, he used Adamantium.
SWAT shows up to his lab. He takes them out using one of his signature Octopus Tentacles and tries to escape. (It isn't attached to his body… yet)
He goes outside where Ross is waiting. Doc Ock ignores him but Iron Man shows up to arrest him. A modified version of the Avengers theme can be heard playing.
Peter keeps having nightmares about Scorpion. At school, Nico is still ignoring him, Pearl is upset with Lonnie, and Peter tries to talk Lonnie out of being in the gang.
Needing some advice, Peter goes to talk to Osborn, hoping he can trust him like he trusted Uncle Ben. Osborn gives Peter his own version of the infamous “with great power” line but it sounds a little different.
“Don’t run from power, embrace it.” “With great power comes great respect.” He tells Peter to give the world a reason to respect him.
Don meets with Chameleon (Dmitri Smerdyakov) and learns that Scorpion got his upgrades from Dock Ock. Dmitri gives them the address to the lab.
Harry tells Peter that Spider-Man should make up his own mind, not be what Osborn wants him to be. He also made Peter a new suit. And it looks like the one Peter designed for himself. Classic blue and red suit…amazing.
