Andor Season 2 Episode 9 Easter Eggs & Breakdown

Oran is being taken out of the Senate. He is talking about how the Gormans were slaughtered and no one seems to care. Bail Organa and Mon Mothma are also talking about it. Bail tells her the winner writes the story but she replies they haven't won yet.

Mon needs Bail to work his magic so she can take the Senate floor. She says it is time they speak out and then leave. Bail tells her there is an exit strategy but he needs to stay, the Rebels and Yavin aren't ready yet and he wants to keep stalling. But he does know that Yavin needs her leadership.

Senator Ton found a listening device in his office. She knows they all need to be careful.

Kleya tells Cassian they are keeping his cover as a journalist so he can get onto the Senate floor. He is the one Luthen trusts to get Mothma safely out of the Senate after she delivers her speech. His name is Ronnie Googe from the Mid-Rim Network.

Erskin finds a listening device in Mon's office. She destroys it and the Imperial's notice the signal is no longer transmitting. He tells her to go to the plaza to get some air.

Luthen finds her there and tells her Erskin has been working for him. He also tells her not to leave with Bail's people because they have been compromised. Mon is worried Luthen is going to have her killed but he says he is sending someone he trusts to get her out safely.

Back in her office, Mon dismisses Erskin. He goes into the Senate area and sees Bail's team discussing how they will get Mon to their ship.

Cassian thinks Luthen needs to leave too but he won't.

Erskin finds Cassian and teams up with him to help get Mon to safety.

Senator Erveen yields her time on the floor to Bail Organa. He invokes Article 17-252, proposed directly by the Emperor's council. The article states a senior Senator, in the case of an emergency, may yield the floor freely and without interruption to another senior Senator. Senterar Karloo spoke before about the imperial loss at Ghorman so he is now yielding the floor to Mon to discuss the Ghormans' losses.

The Imperials are trying to shut down the Senate feed but the room is locked.

Mon gives her infamous Declaration of the Rebellion speech, first heard in the Star Wars Rebels episode Secret Cargo.

“The monster who will come for us all soon enough… is Emperor Palpatine”

She leaves the Senate and finds Cassian. “I have friends everywhere.” He tells her he lives on Yavin and Vel.

One of Bail's people, Beska, is an ISB agent. Erskin calls her a rebel spy and Cassian shoots her. Erskin tells them to go while he takes care of the situation in the Senate.

Cassian tells Mon: “Welcome to the Rebellion.”

Troopers storm the platforms. Kleya tells Luthen to get back to the gallery.

Cassian shoots Korvis and takes Mon's car.

Melshi is one of the rebels on Yavin. (Reprising the role is Duncan Pow)

Cassian gets Mon back to the safe house, where Erskin, Kleya, Wilmon, and Dreena are also waiting.

Gold Squadron will be delivering Mon Mothma to Yavin.

Gold Squadron worked alongside Phoenix Squadron in the Star Wars Rebels episode Secret Cargo. They were first seen in A New Hope, with only one team member surviving the attack on the Death Star.

Cassian tells Draven he has a KX droid inside and wants him rebuilt. He then goes home to tell Bix he's done fighting but she leaves him during the night, saying she is choosing the Rebellion.

A guy comes to get Captain Andor so he can be there when they power the KX droid on. K-2SO is here.
