Bo-Katan thinks he is too young but Din wants him to go from Foundling to Apprentice. She tells Grogu to take it easy on Ragnar and that Din reminds her of her dad. He's just proud of you.

Ragnar lands two hits on Grogu. Din tells him to show them what he can do. Grogu Force Jumps over Ragnar and hits him with all three darts at the same time, winning the competition.

A Sand Dragon grabs Ragnar and takes him away. The Mandalorians try to follow it back to its lair but they run out of fuel. Bo-Katan tracks the creature using her ship.

She goes back to the others to form a hunting party. The Armorer and Paz Vizsla are unsure they can scale the mountains. Bo-Katan says the peaks aren't any higher than Kyrimorut.

Kyrimorut was a remote stronghold located in Mandalore. It was the home of the Skirata clan as well as any Clone Troopers and Jedi who needed to escape the Empire. It is from a 2007 Star Wars Legends book: Republic Commando: True Colors by Karen Traviss.

The Armorer tells Paz Vizsla to have the Shriek-Hawk training team join them. The Shriek-Hawk is a creature native to Mandalore and used as the emblem for Clan Vizsla. It was also used as a symbol for the Death Watch.

While Din and Bo-Katan leave to rescue Ragnar, Grogu follows the Armorer into the cave. She tells him how Mandalorians are forged just as their armor is forged.

As he watches the forge, he has a flashback to the Jedi Temple during Order 66. A Jedi calls out “Get him to Kelleran.” The Jedi are shot down by Clone Troopers voiced by Temuera Morrison.
