The Marvels Bonus Features + Release Date

January 16, 2024 By Ashley Leave a Comment

Available on Digital TODAY and coming to 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD February 13, is the high energy, action spectacle, absolute blast that is The Marvels. Read on to find out what bonus features come with the film, including bonus scenes and a gag reel– my favorites. Oh, and no getting swallowed up by a Flerken required!

The Marvels Bonus Features

The Marvels

Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), who has been spending most of her time off planet, discovers there has been a weird surge in the jump points, the system many use to travel throughout the galaxy. Meanwhile her niece Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) has been looking into something similar for SABER. She comes in contact with the unstable jump point and it triggers a reaction no one could have expected– her powers are now entangled with not only Carol but also Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani). Which means whenever they use their powers, they switch places which proves to be especially dire when Carol finds herself facing off with Kree revolutionary Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton). With Nick Fury's help (Samuel L. Jackson), the three heroes must set off across the galaxy to fix their powers and stop Dar-Benn before she can destroy any more worlds.

Action-packed, high energy, and a total blast, The Marvels is the comic book movie you are looking for. The chemistry between the leads is off the charts. Together they infuse the film with humor and heart– I could watch this team-up all day. It mixes comic book fun and lore with dynamic fights sequences and relatable character arcs. Larson shines again as Danvers, allowing her more serious Endgame side to fall away for a return to the punk rock, feisty female fighter pilot we met in Captain Marvel. Parris continues to kill it as Monica, giving fans more epic moments after all the teases of WandaVision. I only wish Darcy and Agent Woo had been there for some side convos. And of course Vellani IS Ms. Marvel. Perfect casting, no notes.
