X-Men 97 Season 2 Episode 4 Easter Eggs & Breakdown
Xavier wants to explain to Nur when they come from. Magneto destroys the time band, he is determined to set Nur on the proper path and find the temple.
Inside Nur’s mind, Xavier sees flashes of his life from being abandoned to slavery. Then he is summoned by Eson and he travels to the temple.
Rama-Tut calls out to Xavier and tells him he has many names including Nathaniel, Victor, and Kang, Kang wants the power to stop Nur but also plans to use it for ultimate control. He tells Xavier they never stop Apocalypse, no matter the timeline.
Eson was one of the first Celestials from the First Cosmos, the first universe. After rebelling against his creator, the first multiverse was created. Eson the Searcher can also be found at Disney World on Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind.
Beast detects Gamma Radiation from a being that is foreign yet familiar. Gardener’s Gazer constellation- a celestial being in charge of planting life on new worlds.
Rogue is getting a sense of deja vu. Beast tells her we’ve been here before but not in this time but in their own. They are on the mighty spacecraft SHIP.
Nur has learned everything and tells them they can’t stop him. They need to stop him from entering the shrine. Spoiler alert, he enters. Eson tells him he will be the end of all things.
Beast repairs the time bands and Magneto stays behind to deal with Nur. Xavier also stayed and they worked together to try and stop Apocalypse. Magneto sacrifices himself to get Charles and the others back to their timeline. “Gladly play the sinner who pushes people to go to the saint.”
Apocalypse kills Magneto. Xavier tells him that he will never be a god. Bishop comes back to find Charles holding Magneto’s helmet. “We couldn’t stop him. We never stop him.”
Mid Credit Scene– Wolverine, Captain America and Black Widow are talking. Cap hands Logan the file to Weapon X. I’m getting the old band back together.
