One of my favorite times of year at Walt Disney World is fall. I love how the parks transform to welcome the season. After watching the Disney Parks Blog live feed of the Boo to You Parade, I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures from our last Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party
Merida and Peter Pan are ready to explore the Kingdom!
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event that our whole family loves. You can dress-up, trick-or-treat around the Magic Kingdom, meet special characters, watch the Sanderson Sisters take the stage, marvel at the Boo to You parade, and experience the awesome HalloWishes fireworks show!
Pick-up your special wristbands and trick-or-treat bags at special distribution areas inside and outside the park.
If you have a child with allergies, alert the Cast Members are the wristband area. My son has a tree nut allergy, so he received a special teal bag. At each candy stop, he was given a token instead of candy to redeem later for special allergy-friendly treats.
Throughout the party, you can ride rides and meet with special characters, like the one and only Captain Jack Sparrow. You know I love my Pirates, so I had to have a picture too!
During Boo to You, some of our favorite Disney characters are all dressed up for Halloween. But my favorite scene will always be the Haunted Mansion. The grave diggers literally make sparks as they march down the parade route!
After the parade get ready for HalloWishes, as the Castle comes alive to some wonderfully spooky Halloween songs!
Although we won't be able to make MNSSHP this year we will be back home in time for the Christmas celebrations!
We’ve been to several of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas parties, but have to yet to visit during the Not So Scary Halloween Party. It always sounds/looks like so much fun!
I have always wanted to visit Disney during Halloween or Christmas, it seems like an even more magical time! Also, during those times it is not as hot, which is always a good thing!
I haven’t done Disney in fall. I bet the weather is great. These photos are adorable. Looks like a really great time!
We love Mickey’s Halloween party. Hoping to work it into this year schedule. With son being in band and football, it’s hard but we love the party so much.

I think this would be the most fun way to spend Halloween! Everything is more magical at Disney, and it looks like your kids had a blast!
This for me is the best time of the year to visit Disney! I’m hoping to be be bringing my kids this year!
This sounds SO awesome! I hope to get there to MNSSHP one day!
This just looks so fun! We have never been to Disney at Halloween but it looks awesome!
We went to Disney last October for our first Disney vacation and loved it! We skipped the party but I hope to go back and attend maybe next year 🙂
The more I see about Disney the more I want to go! How fun this looks. I used to love Peter Pan and Tinkerbell so much when I was a little girl!
Too cute! Looks like so much fun. I have never been to Disney, but if I had kids, I’d take them.
This celebration is looking awesome. It looks like you have entered to a magical world. I love the decoration.
