Agatha All Along Episode 6 Easter Eggs & Breakdown
Billy is getting ready for his Bar Mitzvah. The program says this is the Magick Mitzvah of Billy Kaplan.
His parents, Rebecca and Jeff Kaplan (Maria Dizzia and Paul Adelstein) are shown.
During the party, Billy goes into the Palm Reading Tent. Lilia is there. He wants to know his future.
“Your lifeline is broken in two.” At first she tells him not to worry but then she gets a vision. “The Tower Reversed” This is a card that can symbolize a crisis on the horizon.
Lilia draws the sigil on a tile piece and places it in Billy's jacket. She immediately forgets what she is doing, which is how sigils work.
The party ends early because something is happening with the anomaly in Westview. Everyone is told to go home immediately.
On the radio there is audio from WandaVision. Vision is heard saying “my wife and her flying saucers.” Followed by Wanda saying “my husband and his indestructible head.”
Billy finds the sigil piece in his jacket pocket. He looks out the car window and can see the giant spell covering Westview.
They get into a car accident. Billy is unconscious and his heartbeat can be heard slowing down. But then “Goodnight Billy. Goodnight Tommy.” He wakes up calling for Tommy.
Jeff and Rebecca appear, with an Eastview Police Officer– Alice.
William doesn't answer any questions about his name or if he knows where he is– Billy's spirit/soul is now inside of him and is freaking out trying to figure out what happened.
Billy hears the thoughts of Rebecca and Jeff who are concerned about his wellbeing. They know he is “different.”
Once he gets home, the family's dog, Greg, barks at him. The dog knows he is not the same person.
He is getting bombarded with their anxious thoughts and reacts. They don't understand how he knew what they were thinking.
Inside his room, Billy sees that William was a fan of magic and witches. There are posters for Disney's The Black Cauldron, The Wizard of Oz, The Goonies, and Walt Disney's Alice in Wonderland.
Three Years Later
Billy is with his boyfriend, Eddie Altman (possibly Hulkling). He is still carrying around the sigil. When he hears Eddie thoughts– that he is in love with William, Billy tells Eddie about the night of the accident. William died, but he came back as something else, something more.
If you're not William Kaplan, then who are you?
Billy has been trying to figure it out, compiling records. The Westview anomaly has been explained away by calling it an Avengers training exercise gone wrong. Billy doesn't believe that to be the truth.
Billy opens up YouTube and we see Jen selling her skincare. The video he plays Eddie is about the Westview “red dome” and he pauses it to show that there are Runes in it. It was a spell. No one will speak about it but he found someone on Reddit that lived there and will meet him to talk about it.
The man he is meeting is Pietro, Quicksilver, aka Ralph Bohner. HIs reddit name is Bohnerrific69. He tells Billy and Eddie that Wanda had them trapped in a sad sitcom. But Billy hears his thoughts “please don't ask about Agatha Harkness.”
“She's an ancient witch who will eff your sh*t up.”
Agatha hijacked his life. He was her puppet. She stole his home and made him do things like hold someone hostage (Monica Rambeau). He also killed Sparky.
Ralph also tells him that he was a bad influence on Wanda and Vision's kids.
According to Ralph, Wanda is dead. S.W.O.R.D. used Vision for parts, but the kids are missing.
Back at home, Billy begins researching Agatha while listening to the Lorna Wu's Ballad of the Witches' Road.
A witch will find what is missing… Billy wants to find Tommy, who is still missing after the collapse of the spell surrounding Westview.
Billy breaks into Agatha's house looking for a personal item of hers in order to release her from her spell. In Agatha's version of this she was a police officer. In reality, she is wearing a Bohner Family Reunion shirt and looks like she is talking to herself in the house.
The interrogation Agatha thought was at the police station is actually inside her living room. In reality, Billy does reveal his names to Agatha: William Kaplan, Billy Maximoff.
On the Witches' Road, Agatha climbs out of the mud pit Billy had Jen and Lilia throw her into.
Agatha tells Billy it's nice to see him again. What does Billy Maximoff want at the end of the road? Big magick is already his. Not his mom, not his dad, she knows he is looking for Tommy.
