Mamavation Monday- Encouragement

November 14, 2011 By Ashley 4 Comments

This past week has been pretty exciting. I got back into the swing of working out, going to the gym at least 3 days a week. My favorite jammie bottoms that never fit (they were a gift when I was pregnant) finally fit! I could put them on before but they were tight and did not look so hot. But they fit now, and even have some bagginess to them!ย  Saturday, I burned calories dancing and laughing with my kiddos. Seriously, the best exercising you can ever do! Sunday I sported a cute knit dress, leggings, and knee high boots. I felt good for the first time in a long time. Several ladies I know came up to me and said “wow you're looking great! What's your secret? You look thinner each time I see you!” WOW! All those compliments just made my day. My poor husband said you never believe me when I say that to you. It's one thing for your husband to say you look nice, it's required, it's in the fine print of the marriage certificate lol. But for someone who doesn't see you all the time and who doesn't gain any brownie points by saying that, well it means a lot.

It's so important that we as woman encourage one another. You just don't know how much of an impact you can have on someone's day just by taking 2 seconds to say you look good! I saw it on twitter once, texting someone and saying “Hey beautiful” can change a girl's day. It's so true. And you dear reader are beautiful inside and out ๐Ÿ™‚
